ROOM CHECKS

Room checks take place frequently and are unannounced. These checks are very important. There may be times that we ask you to be present for the checks. This may mean that staff will expect your room to make sure that it is safe.

FIRE

Closet exits are clearly signposted.
If the alarm goes off in the service, please calmly leave the building immediately and go to the designated assembly point which your support worker will show you as part of the moving in process.

SECURITY

Please close and lock all windows and doors when you go out. If you have been given a key or swipe card you are responsible for it. Do not give access to anyone you do not know.

HEALTH

If you have any concerns about the health and well-being of another young person in the service, please contact a member of staff or the emergency services immediately.
